Only people with the sharpest eyesight can solve this brainteaser in 18 seconds

Brainteasers are a great way to stretch the mind and push one of the body’s most important muscles to its limit.

They can come in many forms. They can be mathematical, observational, or they can come in the form of an optical illusion.

A mathematical brainteaser is one which asks the user to solve a maths question while an observational brainteaser asks you to spot something inside the image.

Hoppa has created an observational brainteaser, one which asks people to spot all the animals in the driving scene above.

Each person’s task is to try and spot all the animals in under 15 seconds.

Did you solve the brainteaser? No worries if not, the answer is above. The dear is behind the scooter while the lizard is to the left of the luggage on top of the red car.

The frog is to the left of the red car’s right wheel while the tortoise is walking on the zebra crossing at the top of the image. To the right of the scene, the pair of rabbits are waiting near a yellow car.

The duck and ducklings meanwhile are crossing the road behind the blue car.

Brainteasers are an effective time filler whether it’s on a morning commute or during a quiet moment in a waiting room. However, they could also have long-term benefits by helping reduce someone’s likelihood of developing a neurological disease such as dementia.

The reason for this is that they help keep the mind healthy by keeping it active in the same way exercise does for other parts of the body.

This doesn’t mean brainteasers will stop someone from developing dementia or any other neurological condition, but they could have an impact.

Dementia is one of the biggest health problems in the UK both now and in the future with data suggesting around one in three people born today will be affected by it in their lifetime.
