Legendary wrestling commentator, Jim Ross has left fans concerned after sharing a photo of him with a black eye online.
The 71-year-old posted a photo of his injury and an apology to his 1.7 million followers on Twitter.
The exact circumstances of Ross’s injuries are not known, but the wrestling icon did confirm that he had taken a “bad fall”.

His tweet read: “Bad fall this morning. Still headed to Chicago for Collision!
“Historic night for @AEW on @tntdrama”.
In a second tweet, he later added: “Apologize for the way I sounded tonight. Going to step away to heal. Thanks for your support.”
Fans were quick to jump in with their concerns, and to wish Ross, who is now signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) after leaving WWE in 2019, a speedy recovery.
One fan said: “Jesus H Christ, why is Jim Ross out with no fucking voice, after a fall, with a black eye? Maybe he wanted to do it himself but it's painful to listen to #AEWCollision”.
Another added: “Jim Ross does not sound too healthy… I hope he is okay. #AEWCollision”.

“God, oh my God! What's going on? How did you get hurt? I hope it's not a big deal and I wish you a speedy recovery”, a third added.
In a bid to encourage him, another added: “Dude, you were an asset and a value add without question. We don’t care about your voice we care about the man behind the voice being there and you made it like a living legend.”
One more commented: “Hope it heals fast for you! Remember though, you still have to assert dominance in the AEW locker room so make sure they know that the guy you were fighting looks way worse! Lol”.

At the time, he tweeted: “Took a bad bump last night. The concrete went over.”
In 2017, Ross devastated fans after revealing he was battling skin cancer. However, he announced his cancer-free diagnosis that same year.
