A Manchester woman who last month travelled over 3,600 miles to marry a man serving a 24-year sentence for murder has explained why she’s now decided to leave him.

After a dramatic first meeting in July, Naomi – who now uses Victor’s surname – has now told her TikTok followers that she has now separated from her husband.
When the couple had their first face-to-face meeting on July 11, Naomi described how her husband grabbed her face and gave her an "intense kiss”
She later said: “You know that man has been waiting 12 years. That kiss was a 12-year build up of no contact for this man.
"The correction offers were like, 'you can stop now’.”

She explained that she’d seen a Netflix programme about relationships that had given her a new perspective on her life.
She said: "I'll forever love him & hold his last name. There's no one else I want to be with, I hope we get our happy ending."
