Bloke thinks he’s found Bigfoot’s hair but people say it’s just ‘pubes in a jar’

Fans of Bigfoot have been debating whether they're being ripped off by a company that claims to be selling the monster's hair – with some claiming it's just pubes.

The famously elusive sasquatch has never been captured or even recorded on camera, so the prospect of a company having ready access to its hair seems farfetched.

But that hasn't stopped vials of the hair being sold on the internet, driving some Bigfoot fanatics to despair.

On the popular Bigfoot Reddit page where hunters and aficionados share stories, one sasquatch lover asked if anyone had come across the products.

They said: "I've seen these things in a lot of museum gift shops. Does anyone know what kind of hair it really is?

"I ain't buying this if it's just someone's pubes in a bottle you know lol."

Unfortunately, that's exactly what people said they were.

One said: "If I had to guess, they are probably selling you pubes in a jar."

Another proffered a different option which definitely expands the mythology of mankind's relationship with the beast.

"It's Bigfoot's pubes!", they claimed.

Finally, one sceptic broke the deadlock: "I believe most of them contain horse hair."

That's that mystery solved then, but what remains unclear is what one woman recently photographed in a remote woodland trail.

Carolyn Day posted strange images in a Facebook group that platforms photos taken on trails in Washington state in the US.

"I just checked my camera that is deep in the woods behind Mount Si in the Snoqualmie Valley…either there is a sasquatch in the area or I'm being expertly pranked," Carolyn said.

The picture shows sun splitting the trees as a large hairy figure walks in the woods.

Some thought it was quite simply a man, but others seemed to think that it could well be the mythical creature.

One detailed response came from a woman called Susan who said she has seen the beast herself.

  • Woman convinced photo shows Bigfoot – or she's been 'expertly pranked'

She wrote on a screengrab of the original Facebook post over on Instagram: "Wow so many negative Nancys! I have seen Sasquatchs before. I will mention some things that are correct according to what I have seen.

"The curve of the calve & the way it bends from the knee, the length of the arm, the way the head hair sticks out over the shoulder hair, (not a seam) both skin & hair on face, deep set eyes! Looks real to me!!"

However, another person wasn't convinced even after Susan's detailed breakdown.

"The suit needs to be taken in a little around the calves and waist," the man wrote.
