Fans of 'Back To The Future', rejoice: the company behind the film's iconic time travelling car is releasing a new DeLorean inspired by the original.
DeLorean Motor Company, which went bust before finishing the 'gull-wing' sedan that featured heavily in the Christopher Lloyd film franchise, has created a new electric vehicle which keeps the shape and 'silhouette' of the original.
The DeLorean Alpha5 has the raised 'gull-wing' doors of the original sedan from the film, although this time they swing up to allow access to two seat at once.
The vehicle can hit 88mph in 4.35 seconds, which is the speed required for the car to time travel in Back To The Future.
Troy Beetz, chief ,marketing officer of the DeLorean Motor Company, said: "The Alpha5 is a representation of the past 40 years of DeLorean.
"There was this enormous responsibility to make sure we honoured the history of the DeLorean brand but an even greater responsibility in curating its future… I think we did both with the Alpha5."
It's unclear how much the car will cost, and it's important to note that it doesn't actually time travel, as this remains scientifically impossible.

The Alpha5 will debut at an event in August this year.
Fans of the Back to the Future franchise have gone wild about the news on social media.
One fan, FoolyPercival, wrote on Twitter: "Years I've been craving a new DeLorean or to afford an original but now I have to see this… in my face, just wow. Looks stunning."
"Ummm so where are we going to mount the Flux Capacitor now?" wrote another user, referring to the new car's four-seat layout rather than the two-seat size of the original.
