You can nab 1000 games for £7 and help Ukraine fundraise in massive game sale

A new gaming bundle offering more than 1000 videogames, comics, books, albums, and tabletop RPGs has gone on sale for £7 to try and raise funds for victims of the war in Ukraine.

The Itch.io 'Bundle for Ukraine' brings together the work of more than 700 game creators for an unbelievable price.

It includes tons of top indie games including 'Backbone', 'Cloud Gardens', 'SUPERHOT', 'Celeste', 'Jotun' and literally hundreds more from some top game developers.

All in all, you can save about £4,990 compared to buying all of the games new, with all of the proceeds going to a good cause. It might just be the bargain of the year.

The creators of the 'Bundle for Ukraine' explained why they chose videogames as the way to support Ukraine using the popular indie game e-shop.

Necrosoft Games, who organised the bundle, said: "The people of Ukraine are under attack. As game developers we want to create new worlds, not to destroy the one we have.

They then added: "That's why we've banded together to present this charity bundle to help Ukrainians survive this ordeal and thrive after the war ends. "

The charities in question include International Medical Corps, which is providing medical assistance to those in the region, and Voices of Children, which helps children cope wit war, PTSD, and getting back to school and normality.

While the minimum price is only $10 (£7), the creators are urging people to pay more than that if they can afford to do so as all proceeds will be split equally between charities.

The fundraiser is already close to its $1,000,000 goal and looks set to exceed it with more than 9 days to go. Grab the bundle and support Ukraine here
