A shopaholic toddler stunned his parents when he ordered a huge haul of furniture on his mum's phone.
Ayaansh Kumar, who is 22 months old, had picked up mum Madhu Kumar's device at the family home in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey just moments after she had placed a number of items in her cart on a popular shopping website.
While she was still thinking over which pieces to buy, Ayaansh went and ordered all four pieces of furniture — leaving his mother with almost $2,000 (£1,483) less in her bank account.
She had been puzzled when she saw an order confirmation land in her inbox later the same day, but quickly figured out what had happened after asking her husband who had placed the order.
The decor-loving tot had placed orders for accent chairs, flower stands and additional household items, with a number of them being so large that they could barely fit through the front door.
But Madhu has chosen to see the funny side of the whole affair, telling NBC New York: "He’s so little, he’s so cute, we were laughing that he ordered all this stuff,"
"It is really hard to believe that he has done this, but that’s what happened"
"I need one or two [items], why would we need four?"
In light of the expensive incident, the mum has said that she will be placing much tighter controls on all her devices to prevent any more of Ayaansh's shopping sprees.
She added: "Moving forward, we will put tough passcodes or face recognition so when he picks up the phone he finds it in locked condition."
They plan to keep a couple of the items as a memento of their kid's mistake and return the rest to a nearby Walmart supermarket, where they have been told they will receive a refund.
