SUN VALLEY, Idaho — Microsoft founder Bill Gates isn’t going to let a little scandal stop him from hobnobbing with his fellow billionaires.
The world’s fourth-richest man was spotted on Thursday at the Allen & Co. conference for tech and media elites in Sun Valley, Idaho — defying speculation that he might bow out of the tony affair due to troubling reports about his behavior while running Microsoft, including allegations of womanizing.
Gates was spotted strolling the posh resort grounds where the conference takes place with Evan Greenberg, president and CEO of insurance giant Chubb Limited, near where he and other heavy-hitters, like Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, had been invited to gather for lunch.
On Friday, Gates is expected to address conference attendees with a speech on climate change, sources told The Post.
Warren Buffett, another Sun Valley attendee, recently resigned as a trustee of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation amid a messy divorce between Gates and his wife of 27 years.
Gates had been pegged as a possible conference no-show due to a barrage of negative news in recent months, including reports of womanizing and of a Microsoft probe into an “inappropriate” relationship he had with a female subordinate.
While Gates has admitted to the affair, he has denied that the company’s probe contributed to his decision to step down from the board last year.
Gates has also been raked over the coals in recent months for his ties to dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, whom he reportedly had dozens of meetings with between 2011 and 2014. Gates has denied any meaningful relationship with Epstein.
Gates, a veteran attendee of the Allen & Co. conference, is expected to receive a warm reception despite any attendees potential misgivings about the reports, insiders told The Post.
Gates’ money-manager Michael Larson — who has also recently been slammed with allegations of workplace misconduct — is also at Sun Valley.
Larson — who was accused of making sexist and racist remarks at work, showing some colleagues nude photos and bullying others in a May New York Times expose — was spotted taking a walk Wednesday with Yousef al Ottawa, the United Arab Emirates ambassador to the US and a close friend of Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner.
Larson refused to answer questions when approached by a Post reporter.
