The much anticipated launch of the SN15 has been cancelled as poor weather put an end to SpaceX fans hopes of seeing the latest Starship launch. Many saw today as the day the SN15 would finally launch after weeks of deliberation. While all systems looked good in the build-up, the grey skies failed to clear over Boca Chica, Texas.

Fans were notified of the cancelled launch due to the Cameron County website cancelling road closures for today, April 30.

SpaceX chief Elon Musk had elavated hopes in the past few days when he said a Starship launch looked likely by the end of the week.

However, that has now failed to materialise.

SpaceX did not give an official update, as it rarely does, leaving fans in the lurch.

This is a breaking story. More to follow
